Exeter College

A bit of background about Exeter College:

For those of you who are unfamiliar with the Oxford/Cambridge-style University, the school is broken into a number of constituent colleges, each of which has its own facilities. This includes a dining hall, a chapel, dormitories, and usually an underground pub. Exeter was founded in 1314, and is one of the oldest colleges at Oxford. It is located at the center of the University's campus, and is just a few blocks from the Bodleian, Oxford's main research library.

Begin Summer '08

Friends,

Seeing that I will be leaving in June to travel overseas, it seems only appropriate that I create this blog in order to share my experiences with you. Here, assuming I'll have time, I will be posting pictures from the various places I visit, as well as updates (mostly from my time at Exeter College, University of Oxford, where I will be studying throughout most of July). I head out June 19th, and land in Paris on the morning of the 20th. I will then travel to Barcelona for a few short days, hit London on the night of the 28th, and take a train to Oxford on the 29th. I will be in London for about a week after classes end, and will then spend about a week traveling around the UK.

That's all for now. Will post updates as they come.

John
